Hi, I’m Mia, a psychotherapist and clinical social worker specializing in complex trauma work with individuals of diverse sexual orientations, abilities, gender, racial, and ethnic identities, and with varying access to resources.
My goal is to provide you with therapy that appreciates and accommodates all aspects of who you are. A deeply committed ally and advocate, I bring training and experience to our work together, but you are the expert on your life and the owner of your story. It is an honor to hear you, see you, and support you in defining and reaching the life you want for yourself.
Therapy is a collaborative process, and we will build a foundation of safety and trust so that you may reflect on any aspect of your life at your own pace, including your individual and community experiences. I tailor treatment using psychodynamic, dialectical behavior and cognitive behavioral therapy, feminist therapy, and narrative therapy, among others to meet your needs.
Whether you are newly struggling from the stress and uncertainty of the pandemic, or are experiencing severe, long-term mental health concerns, you need not carry your burdens alone.
