Megan believes in the importance of fostering connection and authenticity in her work with clients. This shows up in her attentiveness to collaborative assessment, seeking to understand the root causes and conditions that are impacting the present moment. From this place, Megan pulls from evidenced-based practices in order to help clients achieve their goals, tailor-made to the person in the room. Megan views her role as a therapist as a supportive, non-judgmental, companion assisting the client to navigate the road before them on the healing journey. As part of this process, clients can expect to receive empathetic listening, validation, times of being challenged in order to grow, and opportunities for skill-building to help facilitate change. Megan is experienced in working with children, adolescents, and adults. Specific populations include Complex Trauma, survivors of sexual abuse, PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, neurodiverse populations, attachment challenges, codependency, grief, and loss.
