About

Hi there! My name is Jessica Hanson. I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist from Worcester, Massachusetts. I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Hampton University in 2013. Soon after, I relocated to California to make a fresh start in a place where my interests in psychological care could be nurtured.

After some time and careful deliberation I determined that Clinical Psychology is where I find the most fulfillment and most closely aligns with my goals. I pursued my masters degree at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy and graduated in 2017.

My objective is to provide a safe space for families experiencing psychological strain as a result of interpersonal conflicts by utilizing methods designed to address, manage and heal. My approach includes the development of positive coping methods, emotional support, conflict resolution, and positive self image.

My clinical experience stems from a diverse group of settings including but not limited to school based services for children Pre-K to 8th grade, care for teens and adults in crisis, Substance Abuse Counseling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness and Solution-Focused Therapy.

I look forward to collaborating with you to identify your needs and goals. Together we can examine what is important to you and your everyday life as we build upon your strengths to navigate life’s challenges.
